I’ve always been skeptical of realtors because I believed they didn’t have their clients interest in heart but rather the profit they’ll be making off of their clients. Not in Jeff’s case. This guy is the most genuine & honest person I’ve ever encountered in the real estate business. He goes above and beyond for his clients. We were in San Diego and looking for a house in Roseville, CA. Jeff knew the area really well and helped us find the home we purchased. He created a YouTube video walk through of each house we were interested in. The videos were very detailed. He showed the houses like we were there. We found a new development that was being built and Jeff ensured we got the best lot available. He was very prompt returning calls and texts. We now are in our "forever house" because of Jeff.

I must admit when my husband told me he found a Realtor off of Zillow I was slightly nervous. But from the get go Jeff was on top of things. Over 5 years ago, when I was interested in buying a home in Elk Grove, Jeff was recommended to me by a neighbor. The purchase of this home went very smoothly. My husband and I have five children and fourteen grandchild and when we meet jeff we didn't know what we wanted or want we where doing all we new is that we where tried of living in a apartment. With apartment going up we got approved for a loan and after that jeff in to our live. We started looking around the end of june at first we where so excited that we almost maxed owner loan on a house my husband really didn't care for so we stopped looking.I still would look everyday. I followed Jeff Barnhart who was my realtor when we bought our first house after moving to Sacramento 6 years ago. He just joined Team Rindy. I also referred him to my parents who were looking for an investment home in Sac a few years ago. He found them a home in 3 days for an awesome price. The stars were aligned for that purchase.
After him, we bought 2 other homes with different realtors since Jeff wasn't in personal real estate at the time. As a side note, I called him before both of those purchases and asked him various questions and advice. He ALWAYS took the time to respond. He did research for me (even when he knew he wasn't going to make money off of it). One time, he had just had his 4th son (literally the day before) and he answered his phone and my questions. He told me after we were done talking that he had another baby the day before (he was still in the hospital). That is some crazy dedication. Right?

I have met many realtors and I may like many of them but don't trust most of them. The endgame is clearly "the sale" and it really turns me off. But I trust Jeff.

My husband and I both work full time with 2 kids so we have very limited time to look at homes. I ask a lot of questions and am very impatient. And of course, like everyone, I want to get the most for my $$ especially such a big purchase like a home. I refuse to overpay for a home, no matter how awesome. Jeff's response time is lightning; he's prepared for my 20 questions/home, and always quite flexible with scheduling. He is also a great negotiator. Also very importantly, he is also a nice chill guy with a Phil Dunphy-like optimism so it is easy to drag him through 5-10 homes when needed at all hours weekday/weekend.

So fast forward to now 2015, we reconnected as we were pondering selling our first Sac home. Jeff showed what an honest guy he is. He could make an easy commission on this sale and use my trust. But after we reviewed various factors for our current situation, it makes sense for us to hold onto the property. By telling me this, he makes no money.
That's why I'm back with him. We'll probably always go back to him if we ever buy or sell another home.
